We will play this weekend by ear as to activities dependent on the weather and whether anyone else brings their x-box, etc.
Dad picked up 2 boxes of apples for us today and I tried out a batch this evening. These apples made wonderlicious applesauce--very lumpy and supremely appley. I have 3 big pots so we can all make it at the same time and be done in two flicks of a lamb's tail.
The weather report here sounds fairly decent for Saturday, too--just a chance of a shower here or there. I'm thinking some kind of contest in the corn maze would be fun. I have purchased prizes for the children. I'm hoping to be on a team with someone who is not so directionally challenged as I am.

I finally bought a HTIB (Home-Theater-In-Box for you non-electronics folks) and it is wonderful. I sit and listen to the beginning of movies just to hear the surround sound and the mighty bass.

Yeah, she;s using the house-a lot. The mopey weather is moving in, although right now it's so beautiful. The leaves are still colorful on the trees, and the rain is misty. Hey Tim, what's the resolution on your hdtv?
