Hi big brother and all,
I had a heck of a time getting back into this blog... and look at at I missed. Yes, Larry, I have started dog obedience lessons and it is okay, so far. This little puppy is still fond of biting and nipping at me.. but is getting better.
Our trainer uses the method the Walt Disney studios have used to train their movie dogs, so I hope it goes as well as it did with our other golden retriever, Raleigh. But Murphy is definitely a different puppy. Or we are too old for this... no, actually it is getting better.
Mom/ Grandma Sharp had a nice breakfast brunch up the one of our nice golf courses. Michelle and Christopher were there. It was very enjoyable; and then Mom and I started looking for a new, smaller car for her.
Gotta go, as Survivor starts soon... I don't know about the rest of you, but Phil and I are hooked. And have been since the beginning.
Hi to all, Love
Chris

So, what kind of cars is Mom looking at?
I took Katia and Charly to Melanie and Greyson for the weekend to burn brush piles and visit. Greyson and I worked in the rain and got a rather large fire going and then just fed it from three other piles. By eight o'clock most of the burning and moving brush was through but the fire was still a good 5 by 7 foot huge pile of red-hot goals. We went in and then checked on it a couple hours later.
Melanie is developing a little tummy. Just think how big she will be in a few more months. She and Greyson were gracious hosts although Greyson was a little under the weather friday.
Katia only pottied once, and I had to shampoo only twice. Once for her regular type mess and because Sundat morning she threw up a large mess of grass before we could get her pushed out the sliding glass door.
Charly stayed out in the rain while we worked the brush piles; helping immensely by sometimes grabbing our branches just before we gave them a heave into the fire. Add a 23 lb dog to one end of a large branch means the branch doesn't go far. Later she sat and shivered and whinned. The next morning one of her back legs was held off the ground all day saturday.
Janice and Traci have been in San Franciso where Traci went to writing seminars and then they went sightseeing and restauranting. Janice will be home Monday night. She has been missed a lot. I hope she comes home not too tired!
