We gave a dog a pig ear with hair on it. Yes, the kind of bristley, soaked in broth and dried pig hair. It was really gross, and a reminder that this was indeed a pig's ear.
Tuck has a fascination with the word Bitch. He equates it with poopy-head or boogar-face.
When he prayed the other night, he said, "Please God, help us not say Bitch. Bitch is not a nice word, and .... well, just help us say good things. Not Bitch, but kind things. Amen."
He proceeded to say that although he'd used the word "Bitch" it was just explaining.
India said, "Tuck, just say 'The B word.'"
I dared not look at Tim for fear of busting up, but I watched Christian with a smirk on his face.
So please, don't say the B word. It's just not right.

Fudge
Okay, the fudge is made. And if you guys go through all of it, somebody is gonna to be sick. Maybe even several sombodies. I just made one batch of peanut brittle. Wasn't sure how popular that was. The party mix is in the oven. Still need to find the almond bark for Jennifer's pretzel candies. I'm trying to keep out of the peanut butter fudge, my personal favorite.
The pool is NOT cold. It is perfect as Grandma Far Away, who swims there regularly, can attest. I have 4 off site activities in mind but don't image we can do all: play in gym, swim, skate and play in snow. Don't think you can just vote swimming off.
Back to the kitchen.

Gift exchanging & other activities
First of all, Brian said the Deans are coming Friday night right after Jennifer gets done with practice. He also said they are bringing the trailer so that should make for enough beds. I am sure Grandma Far Away would offer a bed as well if anyone wants to go there for the night. Could make for a quieter sleep.
I am wondering about presents. I am assuming the kids, big and small, will want to go ahead with their gift exchange. What about other stuff. Should we be putting other presents we have under the tree out of sight for the kids to unwrap at anther time or are we doing the whole shebang this weekend? Except for Santa, of course.
I need some organization here!
I'm thinking skating, swimming, basketball, singing, movie, snow play all as possible activities. This will take a very efficient plan to get all that in. Then there will be some pingpong and board games here at home.
I'm getting excited now.
Our yard/house are lighted so plan your arrivals after dark for the full effect. I'm pretty happy with it this year. Simple yet elegant.
See you soon!!!!!

Halo 2thousand5
Mel set up the brackets for the New Year's tourney, and suggested the 2vs2vs2 structure so we'll go with that. Preferably, we could use a slightly larger TV, 1 more xbox, and another 2 copies of the game. i might end up getting an extra copy if Santa decides not to go with Halo 2 for my in-laws.

aaaaahhhhhhh
Finished my class website. I thought it'd be fairly straightforward, but the browsers were seeing it differently. Totally aggravating. The problems with simple grid websites is that if there is any alignment problems with the pieces, the seams are terribly obvious.
Anyways, that's it. I about went insane making the project that numbered over 200 pages. I spent practically every waking moment working on it. My body is atrophied. My neck is permanently kinked, and my brain is supersensitive smoking summertime burger that I left on the grill too long Turned in an essay last night. Turned in an essay last wed. Took a midterm. I think I likely have a b in architecture. Very slim chance of an A if the curve goes my way. There were a lot of strugglers in that class. That last test was rough, and I unwisely crammed for it instead of absorbing it gradually. Didn't have a lot of options on that however. Have a pretty good shot at A's in the other classes.
I loved Death of a Salesman, In the Wilderness, Lone Star in particular, loved Greek and gothic architecture (again), loved website design, and loved communication design. I could have done without the last 3 weeks or so of all of it. Pure stress applying the learning, and learning a fraction of what I picked up in the first half. Disabling both computers was something I really had a tough time with. It was just sad, and really untimely.
Chat with me. I'll be on more at least for a while, while I'm cranking out the sweethome site. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you.

Weekend of the 17th
Just so it is official,
Melanie, Greyson and Ada are going down to mom and dad's on Friday Dec. 17th ~9:18pm.
We will be leaving either the 19th or 20th.
Traci has told me they are probably going over on the 17th and will be staying a week.
Jenn was undecided when I got an email from her this morning.
I will pack my swim, skate and snow outfits so I am prepared. Ada only wants to participate in the snow events. Well I take that back. She would like to participate in all the events but I only invited her to snow if we have time.
I was also wondering if there are too many people if Grandma would be up for having Me and Greyson for a sleep over.
See you all soon.

the name game
Grandma,
If you could tell us what this dog looks like, it might help with the naming.
Do you like "pet" names or "people" names??
