Sharp Family Blog: Rodents can be Stubborn

Charlie just came in an asked to be picked up and then Katia came in and layed her head in my lap for a pet. I put Charlie down after some snuggling. Mom is pushing for me to read the dog obedience book, but have homework, these Blog responsibilities, etc.
It is getting harder to get Charlie to go "potty' recently. She is holding out for the dinette floor. She has piddled twice there to the tune of at least half a cup each time............ I was truly amazed and impressed, but actually do not enjoy cleaning up these messes. Last night or early this morning Katia left me five really neat post Christmas presents in our dark bedroom. I am learning to slide my feet forward in the dark as to not "step" on anything so that this time all that was required was some tissue and handwashing (washed my feet in the shower later).
I used some Cortisone creme from Costco and my hands were better today; I intend on putting more on tonight and checking the results. Wanted to put a little dab on a sore lick spot of Charlie's but Mom said no and reminded me that Charlie "was her dog". Her dog require a lot of "my work".
I am teaching Charlie to retreive the tennis ball, what is she teaching me?

I wonder if Katia is eating more now because she is feeling like an Alpha dog again with the puppy around. It is good that they are having fun together, I was afraid Katia may have been to old to enjoy the little bugger. You really should read a book or two on the obediance/potty training. They really do help.

It is good to hear that you stuck with the calculus class as I believe my mother and me suggested. Who knows, maybe you could find a different physics teacher next year. Or maybe you could try Lane Comm. College for that class.
