To Mother: The rest of the story has lots of depressing/violent scenes. It has good times too, but I thought I should prepare you since you don't like those kind of stories. Focus on the art of the writing, the voice.

I gained 10 pounds as of New Years. Weighed 142!! That's only been topped by pregnancy weight. perhaps I'll give birth to a 10 pound fudge/chex mix/peanut brittle blob.
I'm happy to report that without all that chocolate and all those naps, I've lost 3 pounds and am back to my Tae Bo each morning.


Had a great Christmas seeing all of you. I still think we should rent a big old cabin in Bend or Sunriver and skip the gifts next year.
