Alright, I know it is a bit early but I wanted to check on everyone's Christmas plans.
Greyson and I will probably go down to Lousiana from Dec. 23rd to 27th. I will also probably take Dec. 28th through Jan. 2nd off. Greyson obviously is on his own extended vacation during that time, so I will be the limiting factor.
So what are all of your plans for both the time I am going to be away and those dates after Christmas that I will be home. Are you doing Christmas at Mom and Dad's or what??
So let me know your schedules and whether you want to try to get together with me during that 28th-2nd time period and if so do you want to come up here or your house or what??? And Greyson, what do you think about all this??

We would like to go to Mom and Dad's for Christmas. We can make another trip/day sledding if you come back closer to New Years.
We propose a gift/drawing/exchange. Mel, Greyson, Mom, Dad, Tim, Traci, Jen, Brian, and Grandma. Must be non-spousal and $40-$50 each person. Cousins can do their own gift exchange.$10-$20 each. We think this will keep Christmas very reasonable. If you have suggestions or ideas please speak up.
If we're all in basic agreement, we should choose and exchange gift ideas early. I prefer to have all my shopping done before December. Nothing like an orderly Christmas, lights up, fudge made, etc.
Someone in my house was playing Christmas music late last night...I must sniff them out and extinguish this untimely pleasure.
I think the name drawing for us kids and grandma (if she wants to join in) is great and then us kids all go in together on one agreed apon present for mom and dad.

Okay, but I hope there is a reasonable limit on the Mom & Dad gift amount. I think we should have a financially stress-free vacation.

About Christmas, I would be happy to go along with the draw a name plan. I will just go with the flow. What ever the majority decides. Sorry I just don't have the energy to try and do Christmas like I used to. As for a wish list, I have two of everything so don't worry about Grandma I could rent the pool and that would be my gift. Christmas should be the joy of being together and enjoying the pleasures of carols and kids and decorations and good food'''''
