Couch potato update

Greyson and I went to our monthly ultrasound today to monitor the babies growth. One was 4 1/2 lbs and the other was about 5 lbs, both above average for being almost 32 weeks. If they stay put another 4 weeks the larger one could make it to 7 lbs which is quite respectable. However I cringe when thinking about the possibility of carrying 14 lbs of baby. People still say I look small for twins but I am starting to feel really big and it is getting hard to get my shoes on and off and all of that sort of thing. I huff and puff when doing the slightest thing and the pain in my back and my ribs keeps me from sleeping at night.

So not much else is happening in my life. I have been having periods where I work the entire week and then the next week I will be completely off. That is the world of consulting. Next week should be another busy one and I might work a bunch this weekend. I am racing against the baby clock to get a number of projects completed. Unfortunately I have to keep waiting for pieces of information from other consultants (engineers mostly) before I can work on my parts.

Greyson left this morning with some of his friends to go to the Police concert in Seattle. They will be staying the night up there and having lots of fun I am sure. We orignially got the tickets for both of us and it was going to be an early birthday present for Greyson. I don't know why I ever thought that I could go to a concert being 7 months pregnant with twins. So we found another person to buy my ticket and I will be staying put on the couch.

As Greyson wrote earlier, he and my dad did a HUGE list of jobs last week. And yes, I came up with the list. While they worked I layed in my lounger outside in the shade and supervised.

I think that is all the possible news that a person confined to the couch can come up with. I think I will try to take a nap now. This gloomy weather has me all sleepy....
